Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data High End Homes SL collects, why we collect it, what we do with it, and the rights you have over it. We have written it in plain language rather than legal shorthand. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
Who we are
The data controller responsible for your personal data is:
High End Homes SLCIF B93724805
Centro Negocios Puerta de Banús
Nacional 340 N45, Bloque E
29660 Marbella, Spain
For any question about this policy or about your data, contact us at ann@high-endhomes.com.
What data we collect
Data you give us directly
When you fill in a contact form on our website, sign up for an event, or email or call us, we collect the details you choose to provide. Typically this is your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about what you are looking for.
Data from Meta lead ads
We run lead advertisements on Facebook and Instagram, which are operated by Meta. If you submit one of the instant forms attached to those ads, Meta passes the information in that form to us. Depending on the form, this can include:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your answers about your interests and preferences, for example the type of property, project or event you are interested in
Meta pre-fills some of these fields from your Facebook or Instagram profile. You can edit them before you submit, and you choose whether to submit at all. Meta's own handling of your data is governed by Meta's privacy policy, not by ours.
Website data
Our website is built on Squarespace. Like most websites, it records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, and it uses cookies. See the section on cookies below.
Why we use your data, and on what legal basis
| What we do | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Reply to your enquiry and follow up on it | Legitimate interest, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract |
| Invite you to our showroom events, openings and previews | Consent, given when you submit the form |
| Send you marketing communications such as newsletters and offers | Consent |
| Keep records of enquiries and manage our client relationships | Legitimate interest in running our business |
| Meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations | Legal obligation |
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent it, and we do not trade it.
We share it only in these situations:
- Meta. When you submit a lead ad form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta acts as the platform through which your data reaches us and processes it under its own privacy terms.
- Service providers acting as our processors. These include our website host, email provider, and the tools we use to manage enquiries and send communications. They may only use your data to provide their service to us, under a written agreement.
- Public authorities, where we are legally required to disclose data.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, the transfer is covered by the safeguards permitted under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or until you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Where we have a legal obligation to retain certain records, for example for accounting or tax purposes, we keep those records for as long as the law requires.
Marketing and unsubscribing
If you have agreed to receive event invitations or marketing from us, you can stop them at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or write to ann@high-endhomes.com and ask to be removed. We will act on the request without delay and at no cost to you.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function and cannot be switched off. Others are used for analytics and marketing, and these are only set where you have given consent.
Where a cookie banner is shown when you arrive on the site, you can accept or manage your preferences there, and you can change your choice later by clearing the site's cookies in your browser and revisiting the site. You can also block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
- Rectification, meaning correction of data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure, meaning deletion of your data where there is no valid reason for us to keep it.
- Restriction of how we process your data in certain circumstances.
- Portability, meaning you can receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or ask us to send it to another controller.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to object to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where our processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email ann@high-endhomes.com or write to us at the address above. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not release your data to someone else.
Making a complaint
If you believe we have handled your personal data incorrectly, please tell us first so we have the chance to put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, at www.aepd.es.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or our legal obligations change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you directly.
